Yizraeli Chacham Avraham ben Azaria

Yizraeli - Chacham Avraham ben Azaria (1882-1964), Iran, Rishon LeTzion, Yerushalayim, Moshav Beit Chanan; Moved from Iran to Israel in 1936, settling in Yerushalayim before moving in 1942 to Beit Chanan and then Rishon to serve as Rav. IN 1948, moved back to Yerushalayim, founding Yeshivat Magen Avraham and Beit Knesset Tiferet Avraham in Katamon. His son was a member of the Etzel, exiled to Sudan before returning after founding of the State of Israel.
