To understand this concept of אַתֶּם נִצָּבִים הַיּוֹם “You are all standing this day” from a deeper perspective, whereby the Possuk states thereafter: לִפְּנֵׁי ה׳ אֱלֹקֵׁיכֶּם “Before HaShem your G-d”, not only can the word לִפְּנֵׁי mean internally as in the word פְּּנִימִיּוּת that you are standing and connecting to HaShem your G-d through an internal connection as is explained elsewhere around the words of the Possuk וְּאֵׁלֶּה הַמִשְּפָּּטִים אֲשֶּר תָּשִים לִפְּנֵׁיהֶּם “And these are the ordinances that you shall set לִפְּנֵׁיהֶּם into them in an internal dimension, but also additionally, לִפְּנֵׁי ה׳ אֱלֹקֵׁיכֶּם these words can be interpreted to mean “in front of [before] HaShem your G-d” as in higher [even] than the spiritual level of ‘HaShem your G-d’.
This is also understood from what is written in an annotation in Likkutei Torah that quotes a correlation in Medrash Rabbah that says: “Regarding angels, the Possuk states: שְּרָּפִים עֹמְּדִים מִמַעַל לוֹ “Seraphim-angels stood above Him”, and regarding Neshomos, the Possuk [similarly] states: נִצָּבִים הַיּוֹם אַתֶּם “You are all standing this day”.
See what is written in Chassidus on this topic of שְּרָּפִים עֹמְּדִים מִמַעַל לוֹ “Seraphim-angels stood above Him”, in connection with the explanation on the Possuk: וְּנִקְּדַשְּתִי בְּתוֹךְ בְּנֵׁי יִשְּרָּאֵׁל “I shall be sanctified amidst the B’nei Yisroel”. Accordingly, the concept of: אַתֶּם נִצָּבִים הַיּוֹם “You are all standing this day” will be understood. This is the extent of the annotation.
From here it is understood that just as the standing-position of the Seraphim-angels is מִמַעַל לוֹ above the position of the supernal Man who is on the throne, [this is similar to the discussion which is explained elsewhere regarding these Seraphim-angels and how they are able to ascend so high. Is it because of their Avodah in Machshova or through their Avodah in calling each other and saying?...] similarly, in our situation of אַתֶּם נִצָּבִים הַיּוֹם לִפְּנֵׁי ה׳ “You are standing this day in front of (before) HaShem” it can also be understood to mean standing above [even] the level of ‘the name of HaShem’.
