You probably know that on erev Shabbos one should put on special clothes in honor of Shabbos. But did you know what you should do right after putting on Shabbos clothes? The Shulchan Aruch (O.C. 262:3) writes: “And [on erev Shabbos] one should put on nice clothes, and [then] rejoice from the fact that Shabbos is arriving.”
