Kiddush Levanah – The Blessing on the Moon

Every month we make a blessing on the renewal of the moon. As the Redemption through Moshiach is imminent, we should add in doing this Mitzvah more carefully and beautifully. We should do it while wearing nice clothes, in the street with a lot of people, which “glorifies the King”, even in places that used to not make sure to do it publicly because we live among gentiles. We should make sure to do it at the ideal time, in consultation with the local rabbi. And mainly, with the intention that it should hasten the Redemption through Moshiach, by demanding and requesting the Redemption!
