Learning a Maamar Many Times

Cyber Farbrengens | December 08, 2025

Now, I thought that I learned some maamorim many times. And, the maamar posach eliyahu, specifically, I learned – I had thought – quite a few times over the past few decades. But that reaches – at most – in the hundreds. In the thousands – let alone 10,000 – I had never thought about, and it was both admirable, humbling and inspiring to me.

Okay, you say, but we mentioned realistic. And practical.

Agreed. So, let’s start gradually. Like, for example, learn a maamar (posach eliyahu, or another maamar) 60 times until yud tes kislev (which would average less than twice a day, and it gets significantly faster the more times you learn it). If that seems too daunting, try 30 times. Or 20 times.

Let’s get started on learning a maamar – the maamar of your choice – numerous times. But, we can start with a (relatively) small number, that is not so intimidating, and continue to take it from there. To increase and increase until we get to the thousands, the tens of thousands. And more. And we reach the stage of עולם חדש ראה!

So, are you in??!!

L’chaim! May we take the tremendous kochos and inspiration of all of the moadim of tishrei and draw them into the coming days and weeks, so that even this coarse world – which the medical experts and professionals all declared is a lost case – will be revealed as a dira lo yisborach with the immediate hisgalus of Melech haMoshiach TUMYM!!!
