Mr. Julius Stulman,
171 West Street,
Brooklyn, N.Y.

Dear Mr. Stulman:
Thank you very much for your kind letter and enclosure of the Foundation's check for $5,000.00, which enabled us to meet our bi-weekly payments due on March 15th.

Your action has been most gratifying, especially from two angles: a) It has demonstrated to us that you have renewed your personal interest in our work, and b) the speed with which you translated your words into action once again displayed a trait greatly praised by our Sages, the one called in Hebrew Zerizut (celerity and zeal to carry out a good deed).

To continue our theme touched upon in my last letter, namely, the construction of the Tabernacle, the Midrash praises our ancestors not merely for their kindness of heart in responding most generously towards the need of the construction of the Sanctuary, but also for their zeal (Zerizut) in bringing in their contributions, for in two days everything needed was turned in, and further contributions had to be stopped.

As I mentioned over the telephone, I hope that you had no undue difficulty in carrying out your good deed under the circumstances. Greatly encouraged, we are looking forward to your continued cooperation, and we pray that Almighty be with you always.

With kindest personal regards and best wishes,
Very sincerely yours,
M. Schneerson
