The main construction of the Mishkan was supervised by Betzalel (the great grandson of Miriam).

“And Betsalel ... did all that Hashem commanded Moshe.”(38:22)

Rashi comments, “... but “[Bezalel made] all that the Lord commanded Moshe” — even regarding such things which his teacher (Moshe) did not tell him, his own opinion was in agreement with what had been told to Moshe on Sinai ... Moshe further said to him: Betzalel, you must have been sitting in the shadow (Betzel) of G-d (El), for certainly did thus G-d command me!” And consequently, Bezalel made the Tabernacle first and afterwards he made the vessels.”

The Tiferes Shlomo, R’ Shlomo of Radomsk notes that Betzalel wasn’t just a skilled craftsman but a perfect tsaddik who did everything that Hashem commanded Moshe. People who work in the Holy service need also to be holy.

When appointing people, we should not merely look for people skilled at their job e.g. accounting, but also ehrlechkeit – of ethical standing.

If the best doctor in the world acts unethically, then he is not doing his job.

But on the flip side, the person still needs to be skilled at doing their job.

Both aspects are important.
