The Gift of Shabbos and Its Divine Source

“HaShem has הַוָיָ׳ נָתַן לָכֶם הַשַּׁבָּת Furthermore, since given you the Shabbos” in other words, this aspect has been given from above one cannot argue that one is not at such an exalted level because something that has been bestowed from above is given irrespective of one’s situation below as the known parable regarding the unifying of the ‘higher’ and the ‘lower’ that when the unification between them is in a manner that the upper descends upon the lower then the status of the lower is not relevant because since the connection is happening due to the initiation of the higher there is nothing to stop it going a little lower as the Possuk states: “who will say מִי יֹאמַר לוֹ מַה תַּﬠֲשֶׂה to Him, "What are You doing?"
