The Paradox of Shabbos and Weekday Preparation

This is so, although seemingly [there is a paradox] in that during the week one has to think about Shabbos and one has to prepare for Shabbos as our Sages have said “One who makes an effort [in preparation for Shabbos] on the eve of (before) Shabbos will [have what to] eat on Shabbos[!]” yet if one has already arrived to the exaltedness of Shabbos then [surely] that is a situation which is completely beyond any connection with the days of the week!
