5717-1957, the Rebbe spoke to young students about to travel home for Passover vacation, urging them to use the time while they are away to “bring the light of the yeshivah to the outside,” concluding: “In addition to what your teachers told you, I want to add that you should perform mitzvot meticulously — especially those that pertain to the holidays, as well as the commandment to honor your parents. You should also remember the mitzvah of honoring your teachers. Even after you travel home, you should think about us, and me in particular, just as we, and I in particular, think about you constantly.”
