The Wake-Up Call

I’ll end now by quoting a verse from Yeshaya Hanavi. I’m not saying that’s what he means but I’m going to use this for my purposes. Yeshaya Hanavi is speaking to the nation and he says, יƒרּעו יƒרּעו – Awake! Awake! (Yeshaya 52:1). Everybody’s sleepwalking through life. They put on their clothes in the morning and they’re still sleeping. They don’t know what they’re doing.

So the navi says, “Please! Awake! You have a life to live! You have a greatness to live up to!”

But how are you going to wake up, that’s the question. What’s the catalyst to wake you up and keep you awake?
