In Control of One's Money

וְנָתַתָּה בַּכֶּסֶף וְצַרְתָּ הַכֶּסֶף בְּיָדְךָ וְהָלַכְתָּ אֶל הַמָּקוֹם וגו' (יד, כה)

And you shall turn it into money, and bind up the money in your hand, and you shall go to the place He will choose… (14:24-25)

In Control of One’s Money:

Rav Meir of Premishlan zy”a explains the pasuk to be saying that one should “bind the money in his hands”, meaning that he should be in control of his money, rather than let his money control him.
