Rav Yechiel was born in the year 5570/תק"ע. He was a tzaddik tamim (righteous and holy individual) and a gadol ba’Torah (great Torah scholar). He served as the maggid of Pressburg. Rav Yechiel passed away at age 81 on 1 Elul in the year .תרנ"א/5651
