The Future Shechitah of the Shor Habor by the Livyoson

The Maamor in ‘Likkutei Torah’ of our Torah portion continues to clarify; regarding the aspect of the Shor Habor being slaughtered with the fins of the Livyoson, and says that even though today this kind of slaughtering is completely flawed because of the interruption caused by the serrated manner of cutting.

However, in the future it will specifically have to be this way, because the whole point of this [kind of] Shechitah is the elevation that it causes the Shor Habor to ascend higher and higher, as a result of the Livyoson which elevates it with its fins.

It is because of this [elevation] that there needs to be interruptions between [the Shecting] because it is impossible for all the elevations to happen all at the same time, as it is known that there are many palaces above and it is not possible to gain all the elevations in one leap. There needs to be a break between each palace, and therefore in the future HaShem will allow this ‘blemish’.

In ‘Likkutei Torah’ the reason why in the future there needs to be interruptions is explained as above, however in the Maamor with the opening words ‘VeYiten Lecho’ from ‘Toras Chayim’ He explains [by contrast] the reason why today this kind of Shechitah is not accepted.
