He was a scion of Rav Pinchos Koritzer, Rav Levi Yitzchok of Berditchev, and Rav Nachum of Czernoble.
He passed away on 28 Sivan תשח and laid to rest on Har HaZeisim (Mt. of Olives), Yerushalayim.
