Regarding the individual, everyone has their ‘Machshova’ which corresponds to the world of ‘Briyah’ as we say in the morning ‘Brochos’ אַתָה בְׁרָאתָהּ “You have created it”, אַתָה יְׁצַרְׁתָהּ “You have formed it”, אַתָה נְׁפַחְׁתָהּ בִׁי “You have breathed it into me”. אַתָה בְׁרָאתָהּ relates to the world of Briyah of his Neshomoh which is the world of ‘Machshova’. אַתָה יְׁצַרְׁתָהּ relates to the world of Yetzirah of his Neshomoh which is the world of ‘Dibbur’. However, the ultimate purpose is that the ‘Machshova’ and ‘Dibbur’ should not remain in their place but should descend into the world of ‘Maaseh’ which corresponds to אַתָה נְׁפַחְׁתָהּ בִׁי until it becomes וְׁאַתָה מְׁשַמְׁרָהּ בְׁקִׁרְׁבִׁי “and You preserve it within me” etc.
This is the essence of a person’s Avodah every day as the Possuk states: יֵׁצֵׁא אָדָם לְׁפָעֳלוֹ וְׁלַעֲבֹדָתוֹ עֲדֵׁי־עָרֶׁב “A person goes out to his work, to one’s labour until evening”, this corresponds to the descent of the Neshomoh into the Body. It is specifically with this ‘Koach’ that the Neshomoh (which is on a very lofty spiritual level) is able to refine the world. [This state of affairs continues] until the world can effectuate an improvement in the Neshomoh itself.
