And why do clothing need Tzitzis, which represent the Yetzer HaTov being Mis'gaber over the Yetzer Hara? Chazal say that clothing are called the Kavod (respect) of a person. Without clothing you have Bizyonos. Covering yourself means respecting yourself. Gan Eden is a place where you get the true Kavod for all the good that you did. And those who sin, get: חֲר פוֹתְּל דִ ר אוֹןְּעוֹל םְְּּדניאלְּיבְּבְּ everlasting shame. Gan Eden is: וּב הֵיכ לוְֹּכֻלוְֹּאֹמֵרְּכ בוֹדְְּּתהליםְּכטְּט total Kavod.
A human being was created to overcome his wicked passions. But that's not so easy, and you need to trade from Ta'ava to Kavod. You need to develop a taste for true self-worth, and which you'll enjoy more than your Ta'avos. Like Yosef HaTzaddik said: אֵינֶנוְְּּּ ג דוֹלְּב ב יִתְּה זֶהְּמִמֶנִיְְּּוישבְּלטְּטְּ I am the greatest person around here. His high pride overcame his low passions. And he was shown the most M'chubad’ik reward; being part of the Choshen with his name missing if he sins, Chas V'shalom. (Gemara).
This is our constant struggle. An animal doesn’t need Kavod, and an Adam does. The constant struggle of a human is Kavod vs. Ta'ava. Wearing clothes vs. going like a fool and a Meshugener. Wearing clothes symbolizes greatness and Kavod and true happiness. Not to be a cheap low-life and run after Ta’avos Olam HaZeh (embarrassing = taking away someone’s Kavod, is like killing. Gemara). The Tzitzis are clothes, to make sure we cover ourselves and respect ourselves properly with Torah and Mitzvos.
P.S. Yissochor’s stone was sapphire blue, and Zevulun is white. Yissochor is Torah and the Nefesh, and Zevulun is the Guf (body), who supports Torah with Gashmiyus.
Clothing is what separates a human from an animal. An animal is a "natural" who is what he is no matter what, and he always remains a naked creature. An Adam is expected to use his free will, and "create" himself with his Ma’asim Tovim. Wearing clothes symbolize his "taming" himself and controlling himself. (Bris Mila is also a form of an Adam taking a step to improve himself). וּר אִיתֶםְּאֹתוְֹּוּז כ ר תֶםְּ אֶתְּכ לְּמִצ וֹתְְּּה' by seeing the blue wrapped around the white, you remember Torah and Mitzvos, i.e. the Nefesh overpowering the Guf (body).
Just like clothing protect the body from the elements, so does Tzitzis protect, when they remind you that you are an Adam, not a B'heima. The Cohen Gadol has 8 clothes, because a greater person has more protection, and this makes him great; more and more Shemira against evil.
Overcoming temptation and having self-control is the ticket to royalty
