After Minchah, read the sixth chapter of Pirkei Avos.

According to Kabbalah, the earliest time to recite Kiddush Levanah is the seventh day from the molad, i.e. Motzoei Shabbos.

Today is the wedding anniversary of the Rebbe Rashab and Rebbetzin Shterna Sarah in 5635 (1875).

In connection with 11 Elul and 13 Elul (the Frierdiker Rebbe’s anniversary this upcoming Shabbos), the Rebbe suggested studying maamorim that discuss the topic of weddings, and especially the maamorim said at the wedding of the Frierdiker Rebbe (Samach Tesamach 5657).
