5718 – 1958, the Rebbe unexpectedly joined the farewell gathering for Rabbi Zushe Posner, whom he had appointed as his emissary to Israel to serve in the field of education.

During the gathering, the Rebbe spoke at length about shlichut, urging chasidim to go out enthusiastically — even to distant places — and teach others about Judaism. He also addressed the topic of education, offering guidance on how to raise a child in the ways of Torah.
