קול רם - Inyan Sukkos 6 - "כל המועדים קשורים זה לזה בחיזוק האמונה"

There are two Parshiyos of Moadim in Sefer Shemos; one is Parshas Mishpatim and one in Parshas Ki Sisa. Why does the beginning of the Parshah of Moadim in Parshas Mishpatim begin with telling us a general Mitzvah of the Sholosh Regalim, inclusive of all of them, as it says in Shemos 23:14 "שלש רגלים תחג לי בשנה" while in Parshas Ki Sisa, Shemos 34 the Torah discusses each one of the Moadim individually, but does not give the same general opening as in Parshas Mishpatim? The Moadim are the foundation of Emunah that Hakodosh Boruch Hu runs the world, and that He did not give over the power of running the world to people or anything else. The Yom Tov of Pesach is about the power that Hakodosh Boruch Hu has over the miracles and wonders in the world, as He demonstrated in Mitzrayim and when Klal Yisroel left Mitzrayim. The Yom Tov of Sukkos is about the power that Hakodosh Boruch Hu has over nature, that He set up nature to His Will. On Pesach, we celebrate the miracles and wonders that Hakodosh Boruch Hu performed. On Sukkos, we celebrate His taking us through the Midbar for forty years, and He took care of all of our needs. There was no need for us to worry about our personal needs, as there was Hashgacha Pratis, as He sustained all of Klal Yisroel. Many miracles occurred for Klal Yisroel throughout their years in the Midbar, and to them it was like nature - it was consistent, and they knew to completely rely upon it. From this we learn that all of nature, every day that we see nature again, it is all under the auspices of Hakodosh Boruch Hu, just as Hakodosh Boruch Hu provided for Klal Yisroel for forty years in the Midbar. Prior to both Parshas of the Moadim, the Torah warns us not to serve Avodah Zarah, as the sin of Avodah Zarah comes from Kefirah, one not believing in Hakodosh Boruch Hu and or in His running of this world. Immediately after telling us not to serve Avodah Zarah, the Torah tells us about the Moadim, for the Moadim strengthen our Emunah in Hakodosh Boruch Hu, and in His running this world. Hakodosh Boruch Hu did not give over these powers to Malachim, or any other physical or spiritual beings. With this understanding we can explain why one time the Torah states the Moadim as a general rule, and the other time does not. This is to address the two types of people, the two aspects of Emunah. There are those who don't believe in Hakodosh Boruch Hu, and to that there is a general rule of Moadim, which is to instill in a person Emunah in Hakodosh Boruch Hu, how He miraculously took Klal Yisroel out of Mitzrayim, and sustained them for all the years in the Midbar. When the Torah tells us of the Moadim a second time, there it does not tell us a general rule, rather it discusses each Yom Tov individually. This is for those who believe that there is a Hakodosh Boruch Hu, they just are lacking significant other beliefs. Such as that Hakodosh Boruch Hu is still in charge if everything, and He runs every aspect of the world -it is all Hashgacha Pratis. Yom Tov is a time to strengthen ourselves in Emunah in Hakodosh Boruch Hu, and in His Hashgacha Pratis of the world.
