וחכמים אומרים: ”אף על פי שאמרו אין אדם יוצא ידי חובתו ביום טוב הראשון בלולבו של חברו, אבל יוצא ידי חובתו בסוכתו של חברו”

“The Chachomim say: Although they said that a person does not fulfill his obligation on the first day of Yom Tov with the Lulav (Daled Minim) of another, one does fulfill his obligation with the Sukkah of another”. Why is it that with a Lulav one can only be Yotzai with his own, while for Sukkah one can be Yotzai with another’s Sukkah? The following Divrei Torah will expound on this topic and support the P’shat offered in the closing paragraph.
