The very last commandment in the Torah is for one to write a Torah scroll for him/herself. The Lubavitcher Rebbe highlighted this mitzva when he established the Sefer Torah Campaign over 30 years ago. For a nominal fee, one can “purchase” letters in a Torah scroll, thereby connecting with millions of Jews around the world.
