Out of the Camps Those who are declared impure with Tsara’as must leave the Jewish camp and live outside until they are healed. This separation serves as a reminder to improve one’s behavior and avoid negative speech. The community supports those in isolation, and everyone looks forward to their return. Once healed, the person brings special offerings and is welcomed back with joy.
