Tamei Tamei Corresponding to the Nullification of Meah Brachos

טמא וטמא יעטה שפם ועל פרוע יהיה וראשו” (מה יג) “יקרא

One of the sages of Yemen explained: Why was the metzora punished that he had to read in front of everyone “tamei tamei”? Because he failed to answer meah brachos a day, it was decreed that he should recite instead aloud טמא טמא– which is numerically equivalent to one hundred. (Sho’el Umeishiv Yalkut Midrashim)
