Sichah 32 Part 7

The Rebbe's Pharmacy | June 27, 2025

And there are people that live with a certain question for a long time, but in truth, their question is really an answer. However, since they don’t have [enough] intellect, it appears to them to be a question. For example, if you ask a child: “A glass window broke, and they took the glass pane from another window next to it and set it in place [of the first one]. If so, couldn’t a bird fly in through the space of the second glass?” When you ask a child about this [situation] – in other words, that you include the answer and the question together – then, it appears to him like a big question and he doesn’t know what to answer at all, because it appears to him like a big question.

But in truth, it’s all foolish, since, on the contrary, the question that the bird will fly in [through the space of the second pane] is the answer for the first foolish question, because in truth, a person doesn’t take the second pane to seal [the first space], since [the bird] will fly in through [the second space].

However, due to the child’s lack of understanding, he doesn’t grasp that you’re including the answer with the question altogether, and it appears to him like a big question.

So too, there are people that foolish questions enter their hearts, which, in truth, the questions are really answers. But due to their lack of understanding, they appear to be big questions. And you should contemplate this very well. Therefore, a person must remove from his mind and run away from questions, analyzations, foolish thoughts, and confusion. Instead, he should strengthen himself in emunah alone, as we mentioned before.
