4. Glass dishes. This machlokes is only about metal dishes, which are singled out in the posuk. All agree that teviloh on glass dishes is only derabonon, but they certainly must be toveled. Chazal made a gezeiroh on glass dishes since they are similar to metal in that, when broken, they can be fixed by melting them down (ע"ז ע"ה: ). Despite what some people think, one must make a brochoh when toveling glass dishes.
