Shaarei Orah is the Mitteler Rebbe's exploration of how Divine light descends through emotional intensity. Silver-love (Ratzo) yearns toward G-d but leaves the person exposed. Gold-love (Ahavah b'Taamugim, Delightful Love) is born from deep contemplation of Hashem's infinite greatness, generating such spiritual velocity that the ego contracts inward. Only this transformation allows the Shechinah to dwell permanently.
