As when she was in his guardianship, that Esther maintained that same emunah even in the palace of Achashveirosh. Esther grew up under Mordechai's care where she received her lessons in emunah. She was then taken from the shelter of his household into the impurity of Achashveirosh's palace and despite this, she maintained the same faith. Nothing happens by chance; everything comes from Above; everything is under hashgachah – Divine providence. This is the awareness we must carry.
Bnei Yisrael is called by the name Esther – likened to the moon. The moon is covered half the month and revealed half the. This is the secret of Esther.
זֶה שְׁלוֹשִׁים יוֹם וַאֲנִי לֹא נִקְ רֵ אתִי לָבוֹא אֶל־הַמֶּלֶך.
But I have not been called to come in to the king for thirty days.
Thirty days corresponds to the lunar month. The entire matter of Purim is to strengthen us in emunah – ֵאָמֵן אֶת הֲדַסָּה וַי. To know that only He can; that nothing in the world occurs except through Him, Yitbarach Shemo.
We are entering a period when nobody knows what the day will bring. A war that could break out at any moment, B'ezrat Hashem. But it is known that in the month of Adar the fortune of Yisrael is strong – בָּ רִ יא מַ זָּלַיְ יהוּ דְּ יִ שְׂ רָ אֵ ל. It may be that by Purim, B'ezrat Hashem, we will already be past the new Amalek named Khomeini – and we will be able to drink a cup of wine not knowing how to distinguish between Baruch Khomeini and Arur Trump. Hakadosh Baruch Hu is all powerful, Hakadosh Baruch Hu loves us with a great love – this is what we learned at Purim.
May Hakadosh Baruch Hu help that in all the homes of Yisrael, through the Tefillot we will all daven together, He bring to every home: ְהוּדִ ים הָ יְתָ ה אוֹרָ ה וְ שִׂ מְ חָ ה וְ שָׂ שֹׂן וִ יקָ ר לַי – and may Hakadosh Baruch Hu redeem us with the building of the Third Beit Hamikdash, speedily in our days, Amen v’Amen!!!
