Some Useful Tips for Safe Drinking

  1. Before drinking you should eat carbohydrate products (grain dishes, potatoes and rice), toasted bread is also recommended, as these foods greatly aid in the digestion of alcohol. Also, before drinking, drink water or soft drinks, preferably those enriched with vitamins, to prevent dehydration of the body, to help absorb alcohol, and to prevent a feeling of nausea. You should avoid consuming drinks containing caffeine (cola, coffee, tea, etc.), as they cause the body to dry out.
  2. You should drink quality wines and beverages, preferably light in color, that do not contain sugar (dry and semi-dry wines), to allow for rapid digestion and easier absorption in the body. Do not drink types of alcohol produced from different sources: wine + beer, whiskey, vodka + liqueurs. Certainly, don’t drink lots of beer and then wine.
  3. Do not drink everything at once. You should wait between a drink, such as a glass of wine containing 13% alcohol, or a glass of spirits of 45%, about half an hour until the next dose, and in addition to eating, give the body time to digest the alcohol. Waiting does not prevent intoxication!
  4. Novel Innovation: An innovative study published in the winter of 5778 revealed an amazing and proven fact: to dissipate the effect of alcohol after drinking – you should drink “Sprite” or “7 – Up”, and the effect of alcohol dissipates wonderfully! This is in addition to drinking drinks containing: salt, sugar, potassium and especially vitamin C to restore to the body the minerals and vitamins lost due to excessive drinking. If you feel, chas vesholam, not well, the next morning, it is recommended to eat toast, bananas and eggs (preferably boiled, not fried), and to drink a lot and rest.
