11. אשרי . Ashrei is one of the main parts of Pesukei d’Zimra (חיי אדם כלל י''ט סי''ד ). As R’ Elazar said, Whoever says “תהילה לדוד ” three times each day is guaranteed to be a ben Olam Haba (גמ' ברכות דף ד' ע''ב ). In other words, this mitzva is important and tips the scales of a person toward Olam Haba (אהל מועד, פרישה סק''ג ).
12. “Two hallels.” R’ Yosi says in the Gemara (שבת דף קי''ח ע''ב ), May my share be with those who finish Hallel every day. The Gemara concludes that this is done by saying Pesukei d’Zimra every day. Some explain that finishing Hallel means saying two kapitlach with a form of the word “הללו ” many times, i.e., the sections “הללו את ה' מן השמים וכו'” and “הללו א'ל בקדשו .” Accordingly, these sections are also main parts of Pesukei d’Zimra (רש''י בגמ' שם ).
13. Six kapitlach. Some explain finishing Hallel to mean Pesukei d’Zimra; specifically the six kapitlach from Ashrei through כל הנשמה תהלל י'ה הללוי'ה (סוף מס' סופרים פי''ז, ריף ברכות כג . דפי הריף ).
