14. There are other sections instituted by the Geonim and Rishonim to be said as part of Pesukei d’Zimra.
15. הודו . The first section of הודו was said with the morning Korban Tamid. We say other pesukim too, which contain ten forms of praise corresponding to the ten Makkos and the nissim at the Yam Suf (ב''י סוף סי' נ' ד''ה בזמן הזה ).
16. מזמור שיר . There was an old minhag to say מזמור שיר on Chanukah. With time, the minhag developed to say it every day, but this is not mentioned at all by the Rishonim. It is mentioned in the kisvei Arizal.
17. ה' מלך . The minhag of Nusach Sefard is to say ה' מלך וכו' twice while standing. There is a malach in Shamayim who announces each day, “ה' מלך וכו',” and all the Heavenly legions respond; we also say it together with the malachim (שבלי לקט הובא בב''י שם ). This section is not added in Nusach Ashkenaz.
18. למנצח בנגינות is not mentioned by the Rishonim, but it should be said according to the kisvei Arizal.
19. מזמור לתודה . We say מזמור לתודה because whereas all korbanos and tefillos will be annulled in the future, hoda’ah will not be annulled (מדרש רבה צו פ''ט ).
20. יהי כבוד . Saying יהי כבוד is cited in Maseches Sofrim (סוף פי''ז ).
21. שירת הים . The Zohar HaKadosh writes in tremendous terms about the saying of שירת הים every day (זוה''ק בשלח נ''ד ).
