5722-1961, as refugees fleeing the Algerian War migrated to France, the Rebbe sent a letter to Rabbi Nissan Nemenov of the Chabad yeshivah in Brunoy, France. The influx is steadily growing, the Rebbe wrote, and among them are many young Jews whom the Chabad yeshivah must be prepared to absorb.
