The pasuk says אני י-ה-ו-ה לא שניתי, I, Hashem have not changed.
Taking these words literally we see an extraordinary insight.
Hashem’s name י-ה-ו-ה is comprised of three different letters. They are י, ה and ו which respectively have a gematria of 10, 5 and 6. Each of these numbers is solely unique in that when you keep multiplying it by that number the number remains in there.
To illustrate: 5×5 = 25. 25×5 = 125. 125×5 = 625. And so on. When we keep multiplying it by 5, the result always contains the number 5 in it.
Now let’s move onto 6: 6×6=36. 36×6=216. 216×6=1296. Lastly let’s do this with the number 10: 10×10 = 100. 100×10 = 1,000. 1,000×10 = 10,000.
So we see that the translation of the words אני י-ה-ו-ה לא שניתי also apply when we take it literally, as we just did.
