Good Influences for the Entire Year

My father, the Kretchnifer Rebbe of Yerushalaim shlita (Gilyon Divrei Torah, Sichos Chizuk, Pesach 5781) explains the words we recite in the Haggadah: “How is this night different than all other nights. On all other nights, we eat chometz and matzoh. On this night, it is all matzoh”, by saying that on all other days of the year a person has ups and downs. Sometimes, he is week and is overpowered the negative aspects of himself, which are known as “chometz”. Other times, he is strong and his positive attributes, which are known as “matzoh”, overcome the negative. On Pesach, however, we are “all matzoh”. We are completely holy and pure, and we do not experience any “downs”.
