The Alter Rebbe brings an example of this in Likkutei Torah from the words of our Sages of blessed memory “The bride, [who is embarrassed to eat], turns her face and eats,” this is because everything that the bride eats belongs to her husband therefore, she has shame and she turns away her face.

It could be said that the reason why a parable is brought from a bride is to illustrate the greatest lesson that even though we are discussing a bride who is in her element and everything is the choicest and most perfect, [experiencing] a perfect cause for celebration and feasting for seven days etc. nevertheless there is an element of shame here because she is only a recipient and she therefore turns her face.
