The Possuk and the Future Feast

The Possuk: The original Possuk quoted at the start of the Maamor from Yoel (2:26) וַאֲכַלְתֶּם אָכוֹל וְשָבוֹעַ וְהִלַלְתֶּם אֶּת שֵׁם ה׳ אֱלֹהֵׁיכֶּם אֲשֶּר עָשָה עִמָכֶּם לְהַפְלִיא וְלֹא יֵׁבֹשוּ עַמִי לְעוֹלָם “And you shall eat, eating and being satiated, and you shall praise the Name of HaShem your G-d, Who has performed wonders with you, and My people shall never be ashamed.”

Eating and being satiated refers to the great feast of the future in which our Sages tell us we will eat of the ‘Livyoson’ and of the ‘Shor HaBor’.
