Hashem told Moshe: “I have made you a g-d over Paroh”. This means he was like Paroh’s boss. However, since the Torah gives him such a Chashuva name, as if he is the Borei Olam (Creator of the world), we can suggest that Paroh needed to see that a human being can become great like Hashem. We have a Mitzva of: וְהָּלַכְתָּ בִּדְ רָּכָּיו תבא כח ט following in the ways of Hashem; i.e., to be kind to others like Hashem, and not act like a sadistic Paroh. We have already mentioned in this week’s Bitachon Weekly that Moshe was an example for Paroh, especially during Makkas Barad where it says: נְטֵה אֶת יָּדְ ךָ עַל הַשָּמַיִּם ט כב lift up your hand over Shamayim, and Rashi says that Hashem lifted Moshe higher than Shamayim to do this Makka.
We can suggest that Moshe is an example for people that they can raise themselves higher than the stupidities of Olam HaZeh with its Kin'ah, Ta'ava, and Kavod, and live a higher existence, like a Melech who is shmeared with oil, a liquid that floats on top. And indeed, the Rambam gives Moshe as an example, that every person can become a Tzadik like Moshe Rabeinu. And Moshe gave the Torah on Har Sinai, and a Tzaddik is like a mountain. (Medrash). In Makkas Barad, the fire and water combined and made peace and it was a major Ness.
A Tzaddik is also above Tevah (nature), and for good reason Moshe was the Shaliach (messenger) for the most spectacular Nissim; i.e., the Makkos, Kriyas Yam Suf, and the Mon, etc., because he had worked loads on Emuna and Bitachon, and only he and Ahron weren’t afraid to come to Paroh’s palace despite the ferocious animals guarding it. Those who work hard on Inyanei Emuna and Bitachon have a happy life, and they are above so much unnecessary pain, since they see good in everything, and expect even Nissim for Yeshuos.
Very often, the greatest Neshamos have unusual difficulties in Torah & other areas. They fight their Yetzer Hara, and don’t feel they are winning. But if they keep fighting, they are actually much greater than others who succeed without difficulties.
