What do we do now?
The Rebbe teaches us what to do now:
"We are about to bless the new month of Shvat on this Shabbat...Each and every one of us has to accept upon him/herself what the Rayatz, my father-in-law and leader of our generation did, taught, and showed us in his service to G-d. The leader of the generation is everything."
First of all, the most obvious thing for us to do is to "connect" to the Rebbe. How do we "connect" to the Rebbe and what do we do? The Rebbe explains:
"Each and every one of us and all that he possesses should be used to carry out the job placed upon us by the leader of our generation, who is also the Moshe Rabbeinu of our generation. He the first redeemer and he is the last redeemer. His main job is "To bring us to Yemos Hamoshiach" - literally."
The Rebbe is the last and final redeemer. His job is "To bring us to Yemos Hamoshiach". To "connect" with the Rebbe means to give and do everything in order to bring about the Yemos Hamoshiach. Whatever we do, whether it be our prayer, our Torah study, our food, our job, our games, or contests between friends...we emphasis that it's all in order to bring Moshiach.
The Rebbe tells us another important item in order for us to achieve our goal:
"...In addition, knowing that any moment my father-in-law is about to walk in and at that moment he will look at all of his Chassidim and those who are "connected" to the Rebbe and determine on the spot who and what he really is...helps us finish our job..."
The Rebbe concludes with a blessing that the redemption should already come. At that time we will reach the high spiritual levels of our forefathers Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov.
"...The entire Jewish nation, including our youth, our elders, etc., our sons and daughters, should leave the exile immediately on this Shabbat when we read the Torah portion of Vaera...The entire nation should leave the exile and go into the true and complete redemption. We should also rise in spiritual status to the level of our forefathers Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov..."
