Mr. . . .

Greeting and Blessing:

With the approach of Rosh Hashana, the beginning of the New Year, may it bring blessings to us all, I send you and all yours my prayerful wishes for a good and happy year, materially and spiritually.

With the traditional blessing of טובה וחתימה כתיבה

Cordially
M. Schneerson

I received your letter of the 6th of . . . and the previous one. In the meantime . . . , my reply was received to the letter of your father.

I am gratified to read that you are in contact with Mr. . . . who is helping you in your studies and who will surely help you also in the work to attract the Jewish youth of . . . to the Torah and Mitzvoth, as well as to the study of Chassidus. . .

As for your moods and feeling of loneliness, etc., surely there is no room for it in the light of the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov and the true concept of Divine Providence which extends to each and every individual and in every aspect of life. The realization of this must instill a deep feeling of confidence and optimism and you will do well to reflect on this subject.

I trust that you have taken full advantage of the auspicious days of the Season of our Rejoicing, to be inspired and to inspire others in the fullest measure, and to carry this joy over to last throughout the year.

I hope to hear good news from you.
