We can also suggest that the: לָ ש וֹן יָחִ יד singular form of Aseres HaDibros teaches the lesson: סנהדרין לז א חַיָב כָל אֶּחָד וְׁאֶּחָד לוֹמַר בִשְׁבִילִי נִבְׁרָא הָעוֹלָם that each person is obligated to say: “the entire universe was created just for me!” You imagine that you are the only person who is commanded to do the Mitzva of Kibud Av v’Em, or to keep Shabbos, to not desire what’s not yours, etc. This makes you feel super important. There are many other important Pesukim which are in: לָ שוֹן יָחִ יד singular form. For example: אַתָה הָרְׁ א תָ לָדַעַת כִי ה' הוּא הָאֱלֹקִ ים א ין עוֹד מִלְׁבַדּוֹ ד לה YOU (singular) have been shown, so that you will know, that Hashem is the only Power, there is none else besides Him. And: וְׁיָדַעְׁתָ הַיוֹם וַהֲש בֹתָ אֶּל לְׁבָבֶּךָ כִי ה' הוּא הָאֱלֹקִ ים בַשָמַיִם מִמַעַל וְׁעַל הָאָרֶּץ מִתָחַת א ין עוֹד ד לט YOU (singular) should know this day, and reflect in your heart, that Hashem is the only Power, in the heavens above and on the earth below, there is none else.
