Rav Chaim Raphael Avrohom Ibn Asher

From the year תקי''ח served as Rosh yeshiva in Yifaer Anavim in Jerusalem. He served as a Shadar to Kushta (Constantinople) were he published Rav Chaim Vital’s Shaarei Kedushah. He is one of the signatory on the letter of hiskashrus between the mekubalim to form a bond and society.

He was appointed Rishon leTzion on תקל''א but his tenure was cut short when he passed away Chai Menachem Av תקל''ב 1772.
