I am in receipt of your letter. No doubt you have in due time received my letter of consolation, and may you not know of any sorrow in the future.
In reply to your questions, it would be advisable unless there are some compelling reasons otherwise — that you should make your permanent home in London.
With regard to employment you are of course right in thinking that you should take a job. Apart from the financial gain, it is good for you to be employed. As for particulars in this area, I note that you have already taken on temporary employment, and for further guidance you should consult with your friends there.
