Moshe's Blessing and the Power of Ayin Tova

“Moshe saw the entire work, and behold! They had done it as Hashem had commanded, so had they done. And Moshe blessed them.” - Shemos 39:43

What blessing did Moshe give them? Rashi answers this question: “Moshe said to them, “May it be His will that the Shechinah should rest in the work of your hands.”

Tifferes Shlomo points out that before giving to Bnei Yisroel this special blessing he “looked” at the contributions of Am Yisroel. The blessing came as a result from that look. Because Moshe looked at their contributions with an עין טובה, it created a room for the Shechina to rest there.

The lesson is for us as well. Our עין טובה builds a place for the Shechina in this world.
