Greeting and Blessings
I was pleased to receive the news from Rev. Shneur Zalmon Gansburg that you are presently visiting your parents, and that you also "Benched Gomel" in Shul.
I trust that you are observing the Mitzvo of putting on Tefillin every weekday. And, although all Mitzvoth are important, especially such a Mitzvo as Tefillin, and consequently must be observed for their own sake as a commandment of G-d, each Mitzvo has its own particular Segulo in terms of immediate benefit. The Mitzvo of Tefillin has the particular Segulo for a Jew in terms of long life.
May G-d, whose benevolent Providence extends to everyone individually, protect you and save you, as well as your friends, so that each one and all of you are, at the proper time, returned home safe and sound in body and soul.
With blessing
M. Schneerson
