The Structure and Continuity of Torah Ohr and Likkutei Torah

Torah; Bereshis and Shemos and also for Chanukkah ... and Megilas Esther” but the Maamorim for the two books of Bereshis and Shemos finish in Parshas Vayakel] whereas the Maamorim for Parshas Pekudei (are Not in ‘Torah Ohr’ but) are in Likkutei Torah[!]

Surely, when dividing the Torah into two parts it would be more appropriate to place the split between two books, as it is in the Sefer Torah where there are four unwritten lines between one book and the next but there is no precedent to place the split between two Parshios within the same book, particularly between the Parshios of VaYakel and Pekudei which, most years, are [read] joined together.

It is even more surprising that the book of ‘Likkutei Torah’ (does not actually start with Maamorim for Parshas Pekudei but) starts with Maamorim for Parshas Beshalach which is several Parshios before Parshas VaYakel (at the end of the previous Sefer Torah Ohr) particularly that there are also Maamorim for Parshas Beshalach in the previous Sefer of ‘Torah Ohr’ and seemingly there is no precedent to divide up one Parsha with several Maamorim in Torah Ohr and several Maamorim in Likkutei Torah.

Even though I have not heard a reason in answer to this matter, one can see that there is continuity between the end of Sefer ‘Torah Ohr’ and the beginning of ‘Likkutei Torah’ because in the Maamorim for Parshas VaYakhel at the end of ‘Torah Ohr’ there is mention of Shabbos both regarding the elevation from below to above and also regarding the Hamshocha from above to below and as a continuation to this the beginning of ‘Likkutei Torah’ the Maamor with the opening words רְאוּ כִי ה׳ נָּתַן לָּכֶׁם הַשַבָּת also discusses both these aforementioned concepts that exist on the day of Shabbos.
