Rebbe Natan of Breslov - (1780-1844), Ukraine; Chief disciple and scribe of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. Credited with preserving, promoting and expanding the Breslov movement after the Rebbe's death. Was also responsible for making Uman, the city in which Rebbe Nachman is buried, into a focal point of the Chasidut.
