A Yid once locked himself up alone with Hashem for a period of time, and then "went back to the world." They asked him if he has any regrets, giving away "so much time" just to be alone with Hashem. He said that he has just one "regret": why he did not spend more time alone with Hashem! Rabosie, after 120 a person anyways will be alone with Hashem, so it is a good idea to "get used to" the concept of being alone with Hashem, and "having what to do" and having a blast.
(P.S. Zikui harabim and outreach is highly recommended as well and it is extremely thrilling—see Chovos haLevavos: Shaar Ahavas Hashem chapter 6).
