Lights and Light Switches: With Chanukah around the corner, its time to stop and think about the wonderful invention of light bulbs and various different types of lights. Now we can go around at night and see what we are doing. We can stay up after sunset and see what we are doing. We can have light inside our homes without having to open the curtains and publicly display what we are doing in our homes. We can drive around at night and see what we are doing. The list goes on and on. The amazing thing is, we can access this all by the flick of a switch. So, when sitting by your Chanukah candles, making sure not to benefit from the light, be grateful for all the other light in the world that we are allowed to benefit from.
