1. Rashi (37:2) brings from the Medrash that Yosef reported to his father that his brothers were eating aver min hachai [a limb from a live animal]. How can it be that the shevotim were doing such an aveirah? And if they weren’t, why did Yosef say what he said?
2. Yosef dreamed that the sun, moon, and 11 stars would bow to him, corresponding to his parents and 11 brothers (Bereishis 37:9). Why didn’t he see a 12th star, representing his sister Dina?
