Yosef haTzadik, whatever he touches turns into gold. From a "dirty slave" to the "number-one" of his master's household, and from a "nobody" prisoner to the Viceroy of Egypt (and the medrish brings how Yosef haTzadik ruled over the entire world single-handedly for eighty years, the longest in history). What was his secret? What made him so great and "invincible"?
Very simple: He was one of those "Hashem crazies"! (Of course we have no comprehension of his lofty level, but everything is here to teach us positive lessons). Do you know people that are always talking about the greatness of Hashem, and every new week there is another "Go Hashem!" sign on their front lawn (or the like)? Well, Yosef haTzadik is their rebbe. Ki sheim shamayim shagur b'fiv, "for the Name of Heaven was common in his mouth." And like my great-uncle Rebbi Doniel Goldstein z"l would say: The Name of Heaven was sugar in the mouth of Yosef! (A play on the Hebrew word shagur). You make Hashem your official "number-one", and He will pay you back!
